At VetTailor, we aim to provide high-quality, meaningful products — especially personalized items for veterans. However, we understand that sometimes returns may be necessary. Here’s what you need to know before requesting a return.
1. Which items are eligible for return?
You may request a return if your item is:
Not personalized (no custom name, rank, or logo)
Unused, unwashed, and in original condition
Delivered within the past 30 days
You received the wrong item or it arrived damaged or defective
2. Which items are NOT eligible for return?
We do not accept returns on:
Personalized or customized products (e.g. name, unit, years of service, rank)
Items marked as final sale or clearance
Returns requested after 7 days from delivery
Items that have been used, worn, or washed
Why?
Each personalized item is made just for you, and cannot be restocked or resold.
3. What if the mistake is on VetTailor’s side?
If you received:
The wrong size, product, or customization
An item that is defective or damaged upon arrival
We will remake and resend the item at no cost to you — no need to return the original in most cases.
Required: Please send a clear photo showing the issue when submitting your request.
4. How to request a return
Email: support@vettailor.com
Subject: “Return Request – Order #XXXX”
Please include:
Your Order Number
Clear photos of the item (if damaged or wrong)
Reason for return
Confirmation that the item is unused and unwashed
Our support team will review your case within 24 business hours and confirm eligibility.
5. Do I have to pay for return shipping?
If the return is due to a VetTailor error, we will cover return or replacement shipping.
If the return is due to customer change of mind, the buyer is responsible for return shipping costs.
6. When will I get my refund?
If your return is approved and the item is received back (when required), we will process a refund to your original payment method.
Refunds usually appear within 3–10 business days, depending on your bank.
