Why was my order split into multiple shipments?

Modified on Wed, 27 Aug at 3:48 PM

If you received only part of your order, don’t worry — this is completely normal. At VetTailor, many orders are automatically split into multiple shipments to ensure faster delivery and efficient handling.

1. Items are produced at different fulfillment centers

We work with several production partners across the U.S., Vietnam, and other locations. Different product types (e.g., jackets, hats, polos) are often made in different factories and fulfilled separately.

Example:
Your custom leather jacket may ship from Factory A, while your embroidered hat ships from Factory B.

2. Some items take longer to customize

Certain products (like personalized jackets or detailed embroidery) require more time to produce than others.

To avoid delaying your entire order, we ship out ready items first, then follow up with the rest as soon as they are finished.

3. Shipping weight and size restrictions

Large or bulky items like jackets may exceed carrier limits if combined in one box.

For safety and efficiency, we split these items into separate packages based on size or weight.

4. Optimizing delivery speed

Our system automatically identifies the best way to deliver your items as quickly as possible, which may involve multiple shipments from different hubs.

5. Each package has its own tracking number

Check your inbox – you will receive:

  • A Shipping Confirmation Email for each shipment

  • A unique tracking number for each package

You can also view all packages and tracking on our Order Tracking Page.

6. What to do if something seems missing

If you think a product is missing:

  • Re-check your shipping emails to confirm the tracking numbers

  • Review which items were included in which shipment

  • Wait a few days — the remaining items may still be in transit

If something appears lost or delayed, please contact us at support@vettailor.com.
